Has the music industry started to turn on Tiger? This latest release from Grammy Award Winning artist Delious Kennedy (All-4-One) seems to suggest so.
van nuys, CA, February 04, 2010--
Grammy Award winning recording artist, Delious Kennedy (of the group All-4-One) has released a solo recording under his side musical project BlakfAs. The song entitled “The Game”, brutally (literally) pokes fun at the recent troubles of PGA golfer Tiger Woods. In the video, PGA golfer “Lyon Woods” is held captive by four girls who beat him to a pulp after they discovered his “game”.
BlakfAs (pronounced Black-Face)
Kennedy, whose past hits include, the mega successful chart topper “I Swear” as well as other Top 10 hits like “I Can Love You Like That” and “So Much in Love”, and the 2009 anthem for single fathers entitled “My Child”, has not departed from his R&B band but has definitely parted from his R&B roots to issue this Alt/Rock driven dig. Kennedy says “The response thus far has been positive. I think people should definitely have a sense of humor when watching the video”.
"The song was actually written before Tiger Woods’ troubles but when it came time to shoot the video, I just couldn’t resist,” says Kennedy. “What if this is the real reason we haven’t seen Tiger Woods since November, what if a few of his girlfriends are holding him hostage taking turns punishing him," Kennedy laughs.
Kennedy plans on promoting his new project BlakfAs this year simultaneously while touring with All-4-One throughout the rest of 2010.
